This Happened When I Got Into the Shower

It nearly always happens.

I get in the shower, and...the ideas start-a-flowin'!

Why couldn't the ideas come to me before I hop in the shower?

You know...when I can write them down!

This is just one of those mysteries of life we'll never understand.

And that's okay.

So, when I stepped into the shower recently, the idea for this post popped into my brain.

As the water rained over me.

Too late to step back out, dry off, and write the idea down now.

could have, but I decided I would remember it if it were important enough.

And I did!

As you may know (if not, you're about to!), I am the host of The Mark Struczewski Podcast, which I launched on July 7, 2017.

When I first decided to launch the show, I did my homework and learned who THE company most of the biggest shows use to host and distribute their shows.

Not knowing much about the world of podcasting, I went with this company. Why not?

And for over four years, this company served me well.

Until roughly ten days ago.

It wasn't something they did but rather something another company I use did.

Since May 2019, I've been hosting (which you can also get to by going to on Kajabi.

Kajabi is an all-in-one platform. I host my website, blog, The Productive Life membership, the 12 Steps to Productivity Mastery and Basics of Productivity courses, and send out my email newsletter (The Mark Struczewski Insider).

And now...they host podcasts!

For. The. Same. Price.

So, for my business model and me, this made sense.

Aside from a tiny glitch (which they have since fixed), I'm pleased to have The Mark Struczewski Podcast hosted on Kajabi Podcasts.

If you're wondering, what's the deal? I understand. What does it matter where I host my podcast as long as you get to listen to it?

But moving a podcast with over 890 episodes at the time was a pretty big deal. Add to that fact that I'm committed to releasing a new episode every day in 2021, and the deal gets even more significant. Update: I didn't make it. It became too much of a burden for me to keep up with this pace and serve my customers. The streak ended on October 24, 2021.

We make decisions every day.

Some are big, but many of them are small.

We don't always get it right, though. That's just the way life is, I guess.

What is one decision that was not easy for you to make? Perhaps you even had some hesitancy in doing so but it turned out to be one of your better decisions?
