How to improve your productivity with ODAE. 

What now? 

ODAE!

ODAE stands for outsource, delegate, automate and eliminate. 

Here's an exercise that give my clients, my audiences and that I'm sharing with you now.

I want you to grab a notebook and for two days, I want you to write down everything you do over the course of the day in your business. 

Why two days? Because no two days are the same. And by doing this exercise for a second day, you're going catch those outliers that you didn't catch on the first day. 

If you write something down on day one, you don't have to write it down again for day two. Do this exercise for two days. 

Then I want you to set your notebook aside for a whole day. I want you to pretend it doesn't even exist. Just go about your day as normal on day three.

Productivity: It's in Your Head

Imagine for a moment that you want to learn how to swim.

You’ve always wanted to learn...but never did.

Every time you go to a party or the beach, you admire those that go swimming and you yearn to swim too.

One day, you make the decision: you are going to learn how to swim.

So, you begin to your quest of learning.

You watch YouTube videos, read books, talk to people who know how to swim, buy a swim suit and one day, you go to the pool.

You set your body down on a lounge chair and you admire those that are in the pool swimming.

I sure wish I could swim, you think to yourself.

STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP!

9 Factors That Increase Productivity

Everyone wants to be more productive. At least, that’s what many people I’ve come across say. 

Do they really?

And assuming the answer to that last question is yes, then do they know how?

In this article, I share nine factors that will increase your productivity almost immediately. All you have to do is implement them. 

Let’s get to it.

Factor #1

The quality and quantity of sleep. Experts recommend 7-9 hours of sleep every night. I highly recommend Arianna Huffington’s book, The Sleep Revolution. It will rock your world. People who get enough quality sleep are more productive than those who do not.

Factor #2

Be sure you are doing WHAT you love to do WHERE you love to do it. If you love what you do but you hate the long commute, your boss, your co-workers, the paint on the walls, whatever…you’ll never be the most productive version of yourself.
